1How to Cancel a Booking
Cannot access the app? Email contact@spotnexa.com with your booking ID and we will cancel it for you.
2Hourly Parking
Hourly parking bookings can be cancelled at any time before the slot start. The refund you receive follows the hourly-parking slab in the Refund Policy:
- More than 24 hours before slot start — 100% refund.
- 12 to 24 hours before — 90% refund.
- 6 to 12 hours before — 75% refund.
- 2 to 6 hours before — 50% refund.
- Less than 2 hours before — non-refundable.
After the scheduled slot start time, the booking is treated as a no-show (see Section 7 below).
3Monthly Passes
A monthly pass can be cancelled with a full refund only when both of these are true: you cancel within 24 hours of purchase and the pass has zero check-ins on it. Once either condition fails, the pass cannot be cancelled — it stays active until its expiry.
If a refundable pass is cancelled, any future confirmed bookings made under it are cancelled automatically and the reserved spots are released back to inventory.
4EV Charging Bookings
- Before the session begins — cancelling releases the pre-authorisation hold on your card or UPI.
- After charging has started — you can stop the session at any time. You are billed only for the energy you actually consumed plus any applicable idle fee.
- Charger malfunction — if the station fails to deliver the session, the pre-authorisation is reversed and the incident is logged for investigation.
5Event Parking
When you cancel your own event parking booking, the slab below applies. The refund slab is calculated against the event's scheduled start time, in the event's local time zone.
- More than 24 hours before event start — 100% refund (free).
- 6 to 24 hours before — 90% refund (10% retained).
- Less than 6 hours before — 75% refund (25% retained).
- After event start — non-refundable.
If the event organiser cancels the event itself, all confirmed bookers receive an automatic 100% refund — see the Refund Policy.
6Walk-in Bookings
Walk-in bookings made on site — including event-day walk-ins — are non-cancellable once the vehicle has entered the premises. Charges apply for the actual time spent inside.
If a walk-in booking was raised in error before the vehicle entered, contact the on-duty staff at the venue or write to contact@spotnexa.com within 30 minutes for review.
7No-show and Late Arrival
A booking becomes a no-show if the vehicle does not arrive by the booking's grace period after slot start. Grace periods are configured per venue and shown on the booking confirmation. No-shows are non-refundable.
If you arrive after the booking window has expired and the spot is still available, the venue may admit you under a fresh walk-in rate at their discretion.
8Operator-Initiated Cancellations
In rare cases a venue operator may have to cancel a confirmed booking — for example, a power outage at an EV station, an unplanned road closure, or a safety incident that closes the lot temporarily. When this happens:
- You receive a 100% refund automatically.
- You are notified by in-app push and email.
- SNX Tokens or Green Credits earned on the booking are reversed and your wallet is restored.
