This Cookie Policy explains how SpotNexa Technologies Pvt Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It complements our Privacy Policy, which sets out how we handle your personal information overall.
1What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They help sites remember your preferences (such as language or city), keep you signed in, and measure how the site is used so we can improve it.
Two broad types exist:
- Session cookies — cleared automatically when you close the browser.
- Persistent cookies — stay on your device for a defined period, typically days to months.
2Cookies We Use
We use a small, focused set of cookies grouped into three categories:
| Category | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Session management, CSRF protection, security checks, load balancing. Required for the site to function. | Session |
| Performance & analytics | Measure anonymised traffic, page views, journey flows, and load times so we can fix bugs and improve UX. | Up to 13 months |
| Preference | Remember choices like preferred language or city so you do not have to set them every visit. | Up to 12 months |
Strictly-necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the site cannot run without them. The other two categories can be controlled in your browser settings.
3Third-Party Cookies
At launch (20 May 2026) we do not use third-party advertising or marketing-tracking cookies on this site. If we add third-party analytics (for example Google Analytics) or any other tracker in the future, this policy will be updated and the cookie table above will list the specific cookies and their providers before they go live.
4Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can clear, block, or limit cookies from the privacy or security settings of your browser. The exact path differs by browser:
- Chrome — Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox — Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari — Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data.
- Edge — Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will break parts of the site, including sign-in and checkout. Disabling performance cookies only removes anonymised measurement and is safe to do.
5SpotNexa Mobile Apps
The SpotNexa Android and iOS apps do not use browser cookies. They use device identifiers and standard mobile analytics SDKs for crash reporting and product analytics. You can control these from your device privacy settings:
- Android — Settings > Privacy > Ads (reset advertising ID).
- iOS — Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking (limit app tracking).
Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
6Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. There is no industry consensus yet on how DNT should be honoured. SpotNexa currently does not respond differently to DNT, but we will revisit this if Indian regulation or industry standards evolve.
7Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our cookie usage changes — for example when we add an analytics or marketing tool. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest version. Material changes will be notified on the home page banner for at least 7 days.
